Exciting news!

  • 05/03/2026 - Outreach with kind: I went to the school of "Nuestra Señora de la Gracia", in Mahora, Albacete. Kids interviewed me to learn a bit more about aquatic ecology and pond conservation.
  • 04/05/2026 - Manuscript submitted to Nature Ecology and Evolution. We sent our manuscript "Biodiversity enhances pond ecosystem multifunctionality across Europe" for a 2nd round of revisions. Finger crossed!
  • 16/02/2026 - We are in the final phase for the DIMFE project. After being preselected for Phase 2 by the DIMFE foundation, we have passed the evaluation and have been asked to submit a modification to our project with the required additional information. A step forward to make the restoration of Mediterranean ponds a reality! Link.
  • 25/11/2025 - On my way to SIL-ASLO conference (11-16 May 2026), Montreal, Canada. I sent an abstract for an oral presentation at the SIL-ASLO 2026. Looking forward to listening to an interesting talk and networking.
